I need some advice. I ordered a personalized clothing item for my 4 month old baby girl from an online boutique 2 1/2 months ago. They took my debit card payment within the week of the order. Now I am trying to contact them to see when my item will be delivered, but it turns out that there website is gone. Absolutely gone! I have no contact information, except for an email. I have emailed them many, many times, and only get an automated message saying that they will respond within 2 days. I am really upset, but do not know what I should do. Could any of you give me some good advice. THanks!

This is a q from a 16 yr old friend of mine that she asked me to post on here word 4 word-

ok, im 16 and i’m having a baby in june. I will be 17 by then and i have 2 questions-
1- will i get the baby bonus in a lump sum or fortnightly payments??
2- my parents have agreed to pay for most the things the baby needs and family benefit from the gov will pay for most weekly expenses. I want to do sumthin special with the baby bonus(its about 5 grand i think) i have already decided to help my nana pay for a flight over here as its her first great granchild. that will be about 800 and i plan to spend about $500 in the 1st few months paying for personalised momentos such as twinkle toes and growthcharts/baby book etc. Does anyone have any ideas of other things i could buy that would be useful(im not talking nappies and everyday clothes here). Plz no hurtful or mean comments. If you dont agree with the way im spending it plz dont answer. Every1 else thanku 4 suggestions!
PS-im in perth AUS
i said that i dont want answers to do with using it on nappies or everyday clothes. i have parents and tons of family and friends to help out with things like that and i’ll be getting government assistance. i want to use the majority of the baby bonus on special things. but i am putting $1000 away for emergencies like nappies etc.
anymore answers, plz write them or email if it gets too late. thanx every1. i’ll pass them on to Lily.
i’m not a dole bludger, im using government assistance because im doing correspondance uni. i was considering putting some into a account for the babies education, thanku for your input, i would apreciate if you hadnt added the hurtful comment. not every1 can choose to have a baby when their life is perfect. and imnot wasting the money, i want to do something special with it. by buying kepsakes and things. my mother never even took a photo of me until i was in the 7th grade, so i feel that this is important
oh PS-it mite not be relevant but the ones who are helping arent my actual parents, they are amanda and chris(the one who has this acount) they took me n at 14 and treat me like their daughter, so i consider amanda to be my mum. just adding this in case it changes things…

you won’t get extra money if your a colledge student u get money off do budgety stuff buy clothes from charity shops sales or make clothes your self.food buy shop brand stuff asdas own etc or make it your self-breast feeding only occupys he/she for a while.toys make puppets or let him tv or take him to a playground

there seems to be just so much stuff out there to purchase for your baby. its not just simple necessities available anymore. there are adorable memory books that go for $100+, keepsake cups, super cute crib bedding for $400+ and you cant forget footprint and handprint molds, wall art, rugs, swings, boucers, play mats, play pens, bassinets, personalized bibs and pacies, to personalized diapers and just about anything yiu can imagine! and the amazing option of bows to put in your babies hair!!!! and dont even get me started on baby clothes. we’re talkin designer. there is just so much out there in so many colors and varieties just waiting to be matched.

yes i know there are much more important things about having a baby than cute things. love, care, patience…patience and many other things. but in the world of mommyville, anything goes.
so
any
way.

i have never personally seen anyone better put together than me but i heard of several and can just imagine. i wish i had known about it all when i first got pregnant to prepare, but i didnt. and now i feel im missing out on being able to show how good i am at finding n coordinating things. and i know a playpen is a playpen wether its pink brow n creme prints fora ton of $ or a plain white one for very little. but i really like pretty showy stuff and theres just so much to choose from and just so much i feel intimidated. ever feel the same???

(and i already know– grow up, get over myself and who cares, so now that thats outta the way give me your best mommy answers)

i have alot of people come over to my house and i feel the same way. i have twins and i dont have the money to buy them both the cute stuff they need. what i did was go to craigslist and got used stuff that was in good condition for not that much money. i got an adorable colorful playpen for $20 and it was originally $100 so that is my suggestion. i know the baby wont care but everyone else does and that kind of sucks but that is life

screen printing is pretty much printing on clothing personalization , pictures , business logos , baby clothes and so so but i need a name that incorparates a professional approach but doesnt scare off the people wanting things personalized or baby things visa versa

My son’s first birthday is in a few weeks and I’m after ideas for his present.

He doesn’t need any books or toys (he got far too many for Christmas and, being my third, has inherited all his sibling’s toys)

He doesn’t need clothes (ditto above)

He has a personalised blanket and we received tons photo frames when he was born. He has a rocker, push along baby walker and a sit in/ ride on car.

We opened a trust fund when he was born.

(all above ideas from previous posters of this question)

I realise he won’t remember and will prefer the wrapping paper/box anyway but as we bought my daughter a silver charm bracelet for her first it would be nice to get him something ’special’ too.
With the charm bracelet she gets a new charm each significant events – a silver toothbrush when she finally got one at 15 months, a tiny pair of silver shoes when she started walking, a ‘big sister’ charm when Little Boy arrived. She has a tiny silver train to remind her she once had a big crother who was mad about trains.

Boys are so much harder to buy for!

Anyway, as expensive as it is I might go for this:

Unless anyone can find something similar for less!

How exciting for you!!! Ryan & Cody are turning one in a month, and DOMINIK turns 5 next Sunday (15th)

We’ve really struggled with what to buy them, as honestly, they have all they can ever want (being the 2 youngest of 5 helps).

We’ve bought Bedroom Decorations (bedding, lamps, pictures). It was the best we could come up with.
We got each of our Sons and engraved glass with *Happy First Birthday* on it. You could try that.
