My DH and I are adopting a baby that we expect to arrive in the Spring. Will long sleeve gowns along with long sleeve sleep and play’s be too hot for our little one. People always say that babies need one more layer than we do, but what has been your experience?

Congrats to you. I was also thinking about adopting. I was always told to dress an infant as you would dress but just be cautious of underdressing. Hope this helps.

Dress the baby according to the weather, season, etc. Avoid bundling the baby in too many blankets or overdressing.

I am pregnant and am not sure if it is a boy but i already have girl clothes so no need to buy any more of those. My question is do you know of any stores or websites where they have infant clothes that are like hip and stylish. Like polos, jean shorts so he can look like a lil man. LOL that is just how I want to dress him(if i have a boy) but the only store i have found with any thing close is Rainbow.

Baby Gap is great

Thinking about starting a brick and mortar business selling maternity and baby items, including baby furniture, baby toys, infant clothing, breast feeding equipment, etc. but I’m having trouble finding out information on the general profit margins related to selling these items.

The profit margins would be the same as most other retailers: 30-60%. Knowing the profit margin is important, as is knowing what your market will bear, or knowing whether you even have a market. To know this, you must do local research. Equally important to profit margin is your break-even-point. Good luck.
