My husband and I bought gender neutral newborn clothes from very early on…about 8 weeks. Once we found out that we were having a girl, we went nuts and bought tons of girl clothes…even a couple winter coats! It was much more fun to buy once we knew what the sex was.
This time around, we are waiting to find out what our little Bean is…I’m 17wks.

We didn’t buy anything until after the baby shower. Then I hit all the sales. I couldn’t believe the amount of clothes we got at the shower.

I have two friends who are younger than me who both had boys…I got ALL of their clothes. I didn’t need to buy anything, lol. I bought two outfits right before he was born. One was his "going home" outfit.
I’m 20, but both of my friends were 16 when their sons were born and they aren’t having any more kids, at least not for a LOOONG time.

I cant remember exactly when, but it wasnt until the last trimester. I never found out the sex with our first so we just bought all neutral stuff and lots of it.
Im now 29 almost 30 weeks with my second and have been buying bits and pieces since i made it past 12 weeks, LOL. When i found out the sex (girl) i went nuts on ebay buying all the cute stuff that i knew we couldnt afford brand new. I still need to buy all the boring stuff like socks, mittens, singlets etc. But atleast i have a few cute outfits, LOL

I’m due in March too =D on the 11th to be exact!!
I haven’t bought any clothes yet….I want to wait until I found out if it’s a boy or a girl……however, you can buy bottles, pacifiers, diapers…etc..and if you do decide to buy any clothes, I would buy the onesies – just buy them in white, or green or yellow – these aren’t too important in color – just for the fact they go under baby’s clothes and no one will see them anyways, or buy sleepers, well whatever you buy just buy it in a gender neutrel…but I would definitely recommend getting an early start on buying diapers, don’t buy that many newborns though cause they grow out of them pretty fast…..that’s what I want to do anyways…be as prepared as possible =D
Congrats and G’luck!!

18 weeks. I’m happy I started purchasing things early because it took a lot of the stress off of me later in my pregnancy. The only thing I regret is buying large amounts of clothes from a few stores. I should have shopped around more. I bought so much from just a couple stores that in no time I had way too much and my boyfriend told me I couldn’t buy anything else which meant whenever we went into other stores and I saw clothes I liked I couldn’t get them.
