Measure your baby please…kind of a poll/ my personal clothing challenge?

Posted under Baby Clothes Patterns by admin on Thursday 31 December 2009

Greetings wonderful parents & guardians of yahoo answers! I come to you for I have embarked on a quest :-) I’m attempting to draft a new pattern for baby clothing that is adjustable (therby lasting more than a few months because baby clothing can get expensive after awhile, lol) and need a bit of help on measurements.

At this time I’m doing pants and I need measurements for babies aged preemie-12 months. If you could kindly state the age of your baby (and let me know if he/she is a preemie at this time and how many weeks premature if so) and then take the following measurements in either centimeters or inches:
Waist (all the way around)-
Waist to ankle (with leg straight)-
Ankle (all the way around)-

Example Answer (from my daughter): 1 Month, Waist-15 inches, Waist to ankle-8 inches, Ankle-4 inches

Thank you sew very much!
Christy
