My 8 month old has several outfits that are dry-clean only as well as some sweaters that I would like to have done before putting them away for the summer. However, I am concerned that some of chemicals used in standard dry cleaning will irritate her tender skin. Is there some kind of baby-safe dry cleaning treatment (the equivalent of "Dreft" for regular laundry)? If there is, do I need to specify that that is what I want to the dry cleaner, or can I safely assume that they’ll know to use it on baby clothes?
This isn’t something you want to leave to some corner dry-cleaning depot. I use http://parisinfantlaundress.fr/ — they will send a courier to your door to pick them up. Tip: ask for Greta to do the starching; she works miracles on pleats and smocking. I don’t know if you’re in a cold climate but if you are it’s worth asking about their fur storage service for the snowsuits.
